Light and location: Drosera intermedia requires full sun to thrive. It is therefore essential to place them outdoors.
Temperatures: These are very hardy plants (-8°C to -10°C in winter) and can withstand high summer temperatures (up to 40°C) if kept in large pots (minimum 3 litres) or, preferably, in a bog.
Watering: Rainwater. It is important to keep the growing medium constantly saturated, with the pot submerged in a few centimetres of water.
Substrate: A mixture for carnivorous plants consisting of 70–90 per cent blond peat, mixed with approximately 10 per cent perlite. Ideally, the plant should be grown in a peat bed or in a large, constantly moist pot (minimum 3 litres).
