Customer reviews

When you leave a comment on our website, the data entered in the comment form, as well as your IP address and your browser’s user agent, are collected to help us detect spam comments.

Contact Forms

Any data collected via our contact forms is stored until you withdraw your consent or request its deletion. For any questions or enquiries, please use the contact details provided on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our website, you will be given the option to save your name and email address or to use the details stored in your customer account. This is solely for your convenience, so that you do not have to enter this information each time.

If you have an account and log in to this website, a temporary cookie will be created to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. It does not contain any personal data and will be automatically deleted when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will set a number of cookies to save your login details and your display preferences. A login cookie lasts for two days, whilst a display preference cookie lasts for one year. If you log out of your account, the login cookie will be deleted.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in exactly the same way as if the visitor were visiting that other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed third-party tracking tools, or track your interactions with this embedded content if you have an account logged in on their website.

Statistics and audience metrics

We collect real-time statistics on our customers, solely for the purpose of helping you save time when you contact our customer service team.

We also use Google Analytics, which enables us to collect statistical data on the number of visitors, their region, etc. All this data is confidential and anonymous.

Marketing offers

Phytesia (Wildorchis) will send you its marketing offers mainly by email, by text message if you have consented to this, and by post or telephone, provided you did not object to this when your data was collected.

Furthermore, if you place an order and have not previously indicated that you do not wish to receive marketing communications, we may nevertheless use your email address to send you marketing offers for products similar to those you have ordered.

Where marketing emails are sent, the sender will be clearly identified and the nature of the commercial offer will be stated in the subject line of the message. At the end of each message, you will have the option to unsubscribe from our marketing emails with a single click.

Finally, by providing us with your telephone number, you agree to be contacted regarding any matters relating to your order.

Use and sharing of your personal data

Retention periods for your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows us to automatically recognise and approve any subsequent comments, rather than holding them in the moderation queue.

For users who register on our website, we also store the personal data provided in their profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time. Website administrators can also view and edit this information.

If you would like to know what data we hold, you can visit the ‘My Personal Data’ page via your account dashboard.

Your rights regarding your data

If you have an account or have left comments on the site, you can request to receive a file containing all the personal data we hold about you, including that which you have provided to us. You can also request the deletion of your personal data. This does not include data stored for administrative, legal or security purposes.

Sharing of your personal data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
